Updated Entry Requirements for Lebanese Nationals Travelling to Iran 🇱🇧🇮🇷

According to the latest circular issued by the Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following regulations apply to holders of ordinary Lebanese passports travelling to Iran:

Tourist Travel

• Lebanese nationals holding ordinary passports may enter Iran without a visa for tourist visits of up to 15 days.

• This exemption is valid provided that the traveler enters Iran no more than once every six months.

• For stays exceeding 15 days, an entry visa is required.

Non-Tourist Travel

• An entry visa is required regardless of the duration of stay.

Visa Issuance

Where a visa is required, it may be obtained through:

  • Embassies and Consulates of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad.
  • International airports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, subject to applicable regulations and procedures.
